Market Sizing & Understanding Analysis and trends in Aesthetic Medicine in Spain, France and Portugal

INITIAL SITUATION

Due to the growing demand in the aesthetic medicine market, our client needed to know and understand the future potential as well as explore the current market.

METHODOLOGY

PHASE 01

A methodological approach was carried out based on three sequential phases in time. As a preliminary phase, a desk research was carried out, complemented by qualitative research based on interviews with Key Opinion Leaders of the industry (KOL's) to delve deeper into the social and economic impact of aesthetic medicine and define future trends.

PHASE 02

In a second phase we use multivariate statistical analysis techniques to understand the brand funnel, the drivers and barriers to choosing treatments and the image and positioning of the different brands from the perspective of doctors specializing in aesthetic medicine.

PHASE 03

As the last phase of the study, we propose an adhoc quantification with the general population to measure the use of aesthetic medicine services, understand the drivers of entry into this market and the barriers.

OBJECTIVES AND RESULTS

The penetration of aesthetic medicine in each country (current market) and the potential market at a general level and for each of the treatments studied were obtained.

Global and specific trends were defined
for country.

The drivers and barriers were sized for each of the treatments and brands; both from the point of view of the aesthetic doctor and the user.
