The study on the 'Segmentation of the sun and beach tourist', carried out by Ricardo Rivero, consultant at Hamilton, a market research consultancy, is presented within the framework of the IV edition of the professional meeting Fortunata Café, organized by Promotur Turismo de Canarias , an entity dependent on the Ministry of Tourism, Culture and Sports of the Government of Catalonia.
The study has analyzed the responses of 72 individuals from key markets for tourism promotion of the Canary Islands: Spain, the United Kingdom, Germany and Norway.
