This is the first book that collects the experience of 15 patients with RA, narrated in the first person.
It is the result of a study carried out by hamilton, market research consultant with patients who suffer Rheumatoid Arthritis (RA).
This is an innovative study, since, until now, there are few studies on RA based on patient testimonies. The main objective was to determine the perception of the illness, feelings and associated experiences to treatment from the perspective of people who experience RA firsthand, allowing the reader to draw their own conclusions about the disease.
It is a comprehensive study that sheds light on many of the problems that patients encounter in their daily lives. Go deeper in the different phases and experiences what the patient goes through Thanks to his stories, he explains his daily life living with the different stages of the disease: from the pre-diagnosis, the diagnosis, the treatment and its response, the administration and the place of administration; identifying life habits, positive and negative experiences towards each phase and their expectations.
Also detected were covered, unmet needs and critical points. As well as future expectations regarding the evolution of the treatment. They were determined, ideal level, actions and/or aspects that would provide the patient more positive experiences or better adaptation to the disease in its different phases.
The project has been led by WithArthritis (National Arthritis Coordinator) and carried out with the collaboration of Gebro Pharma and hamilton, the latter managing the market research part.
