There are currently many general rankings that are responsible for classifying and promoting face-to-face higher education institutions at a global level in order to highlight them individually according to different aspects such as the quality of research, infrastructure, number of courses taught and the quality of teaching, among others. However, at this time, there is no ranking exclusively for online higher education institutions that shows an objective and reliable methodology since this type of training cannot be governed by the same criteria as face-to-face education.
